There are a surprising number of Hollywood casinos in the area and some of them are quite nice places. They have a great buffet, many games, and lots of slots. We have not tried them all so we’ll just list our top 6:

Argosy Casino Kansas City

Hollywood Casino Kansas City has been a real gem in the casino industry for many years, with most recent expansions and revitalizations in the mid-2000s. This is where Elton John famously gambled away his $20 million after losing it to a card shark at the age of 55, earning himself a spot on everybody’s list of America’s Richest Men, along with Hank Aaron and Don King.

The casino is owned by the publicly-traded Blackstone Group, which operates some other high-end properties: Wynn Las Vegas, Bally’s, Caesars Palace and many more. In 2010, Blackstone acquired Eldorado International Holdings, which owns casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey, including Bally’s Atlantic City, Borgata Casino Atlantic City (which recently won Gaming Control Board approval to start accepting Bitcoin), The Borgata Hotel & Casino at Pier 21 (currently undergoing renovations), as well as several tribal casinos in Native American reservations around the country.

The casino was named One Harborside after a nearby casino that closed down at some point during the building process. This name was further popularized by an episode of Yes! Magazine in 2010 called “Hollywood Casino: The Daring Heist,”.

The one difference between this one and other Hollywood slots houses (like Harrah’s or Trump Taj Mahal) is that there are no free drinks! Instead, you have to buy your own drinks for your table come game time.

The Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast is a new casino in Florida, owned by the Mega Entertainment Group. The casino is located in Crystal River and it has an official opening date of March 22, 2016. The casino features 1,473 slot machines along with a large poker table.

This casino is different from any other that we see because it features live sports as well as live shows and entertainment. More so than any other casino, this one can be considered a family-oriented establishment. On top of that, the theater is designed for all ages and to allow for more fun for all ages.

There are five tiers in terms of age restrictions at this casino: the first tier is for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years old; the second tier is for children between 13-17 years old; the third tier is for children between 18-24 years old; the fourth tier is for adults 25 years and older; and the fifth tier is for adults over 25 years old, who are allowed to bring friends with them into this facility.

Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg is a casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. It is owned and operated by Hollywood Casino Entertainment, LLC. The casino has received several awards since opening in 2004, including the 2006 Best Casino of the Year Award by “Winni Magazine”, the 2007 Best Casino of the Year Award by “The Wheel Magazine” and the 2008 Best Las Vegas Casinos of the Year Award by “Winni Magazine”.
